In 2025, Frankston North continued to focus on quality and targeted engagement, with programs increasingly designed to support families with higher needs. While overall attendance varied, access to supports became more purposeful, helping build stronger and more sustained relationships with families. Closer coordination between Aldercourt and Mahogany Rise Primary Schools reduced duplication and improved how families move between activities and services. Families are increasingly acting as connectors within the community, helping others access supports and opportunities across the precinct.

- Early years outreach: A 0–3 engagement blitz reached 15 new families, with 50% receiving warm referrals to additional supports.
- Strengthening early literacy: A new Story Bag workshop encouraged shared reading from birth and was complemented by key ages and stages engagement strategies.
- Student-led change: Students at Aldercourt and Mahogany Rise Primary Schools created a unified Attendance Campaign through UNICEF’s Map Your World program.
- Parent wellbeing and connection: Art Journaling sessions have continued into Term 4 due to high demand, supporting adult wellbeing, confidence and community connection.
- Expanding mental health support: A new partnership with Better Place Australia opened access to free, year-long support, strengthening early intervention and reducing pressure on local services.
- Service coordination and navigation efforts: Family event designed with service providers ‘Family Day’ to inform attendees about on-site services and supports, enabling timely access and assistance.
- Improved attendance systems: A shared approach between Aldercourt Primary School and Our Place reduced duplication, improved access to activities and supported stronger overall attendance.
- Strengthening family connections: Implement the new 2025–2028 Strategic Plan with a focus on improving attendance, deepening parent confidence and strengthening family engagement across the early years, creating new and more meaningful ways to connect with families.
- Health and early development: Build on strong partnerships to increase participation in universal services such as MCH Key Age and Stage visits, playgroups and early learning, ensuring earlier identification of developmental needs and timely access to supports.
- Oral language and continuity of learning: Renew focus on oral language development by embedding communication-rich practices across playgroups, kinder and school, building stronger continuity of learning for children as they grow.
- Integrated supports: Strengthen collaboration with NDIS partners and allied health providers to streamline access, reduce duplication and ensure families receive coordinated, holistic support tailored to their needs.
