2025 marked a new phase for Our Place, as evidence of our impact on the ground intersected with growing national appetite for integrated, family-centred ways of working.

A few years ago, the idea that schools could be the entry point for wrap-around support for families felt bold. Today, it feels like common sense, and Our Place is proud to have helped demonstrate how to make it possible.

This year also marked a major milestone for our evaluation efforts: our whole-of-approach evaluation report that showcases the positive impacts that are being observed across all nine sites.  The Our Place Approach is making a difference: stronger partnerships, greater integration of services, and early signs of impact for children and families. 

None of this would be possible without the commitment of our more than 110 partner organisations. Schools, service providers, government and philanthropy — together, you make this work real every day. And to the Our Place team, thank you for bringing our values to life with such care and conviction.

As we look to 2026, we’ll focus on strengthening the quality of our work at every site and shaping what comes next: a sustainable, scalable path to long-term impact.

This Roadmap offers a snapshot of where we’ve been, what we’ve learned, and where we’re headed. I hope you enjoy reading it and continuing the journey with us.
